That said, he was in Hoosiers (playing Shooter Flatch), the greatest sports movie ever made. (Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, and Slapshot are about individuals who play sports, not their respective sports).

How is that Joe Montana, a guy who is generally ranked among the greatest quarterbacks of all time, if not the greatest, is relegated to Sketchers Shape-Ups ads?

 

Is he a complete asshole? Retarded? Is his agent both of those things?

In 1994 I would have wagered Joe would ascend to the Jordan stratosphere (with the added advantages of being white and not a chronic gambler).

And yet he has not, meanwhile ringless Dan Marino yucks it up on CBS NFL Sunday and shills man-diets with Mike Golic.

I generally don't like bands with lots of intruments

I'm a simpleton, I like the White Stripes. 2 instruments is good.

Or the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, though the addition of a singer is pushing it.

When I do like a band with tons of instruments it's stuff like Broken Social Scene.
